Wanda Surf Club Wedding We always love days spent creating a Wanda Surf Club wedding. Set by the sea your guests can watch the waves roll in and sailboats racing out at sea while they sit waiting for your entrance.
For Rachel and Nick's day their brief was bold and vibrant colours in yellows, oranges, reds and purples and there were some favourite flowers including Singapore Orchids and Calla lillies that we were able to add in to the florals for their day. For a Wanda surf Club wedding the room is a blank space that you can do as much or as little to as you like. Today the tables were filled with simple bud vases that allow the flowers to shine and the ceremony arch had abundant florals on it. As a local Cronulla Wedding Florist we love creating Wanda Surf Club weddings, it's one of our favourite venues and we love seeing all of the different ways couples see the space for their wedding day. Headlands Austinmer Beach WeddingEm and Scott's Headlands Austinmer Beach wedding was such a joyous celebration. After needing to postpone last year as a result of the pandemic and then a day full of wind and rain they both embraced all that their day was about, including a photoshoot in the rain! To create their coastal luxe vibe we used a range of mixed dried palms, large roses, babies breath, eucalyptus and stunning phalenopsis orchids for the ceremony back drop. Clusters of flipped roses and candles on each table softened the room and brought all the romantic vibes. One of our most favourite parts of a wedding day is seeing all of the little touches of love each couple put's into the elements of their day. Em and Scott were no different, a cute little jenga set for guests to write a note on was such a special touch. The added bonus at of having a Headlands Austinmer Beach wedding is that you make your day so relaxing by having everything in one spot. You can stay overnight the night before the wedding and wander over to the space in the morning to set up any special touches before you head back for your hair and make-up and then you can have more time with your guests and only have to duck down to the beach for your photos. The whole experience creates such a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Em and Scott were also lucky that with the weather being so wild they could then move the ceremony inside. The day was created in partnership with the team at Pop Up Elopements. We all regularly work together to create beautiful weddings without the fuss. A day with Pop Up Elopements can include your celebrant, photographer, florist, cake and videographer. Everything is simplified, we all communicate and co-ordinate behind the scenes so as it's one less thing you need to worry about.
We cant wait to get back for another Headlands Austinmer Beach wedding. All the amazing suppliers for Em and Scott's Day..... We had such a great day flowering up the Growwild wedding for Jess and Josh. After a postponement last year, Jess and Josh finally got to enjoy their wedding with their nearest and dearest at Growwild wedding. And, what a day it was! Growwild have set up a fantastic oasis from the ceremony space in the Secret Valley that is full of tree hollows fit for fairies and flowers spilling over rockledge's surrounded by stunning native bushland that set's off the curved arch which we added spilling flowers to. In the barn, Jess and her tribe spent the morning getting ready and then after the ceremony the guests enjoyed the afternoon in the barn sipping on drinks and sampling food that looked absolutely divine. Around the back is a perfect area for some fun lawn games surrounded by Growwild's stunning gardens, we could hear a lot of guests having fun with the lawn games. Up at the beautiful marquee unique to a Growwild wedding, we used lush foliage to create a hanging install that floated above the guests. The tables were adorned with bud vases filled with gorgeous blooms in whites, peach and apricots with a scattering of candles. The bud vases worked perfectly for the shared style dinner that was planned. Off to the side of the marquee is another area perfect for enjoying the evening with huge festoon lights that I wish I could have seen at night. The area was filled with wine barrels which were where repurposed the florals from the arbour at their bases so they could be enjoyed a little longer. There were so many magical spots for Jess and Josh and their bridal party to have photos before the reception, they will have some treasured shots. My favourite cluster of trees were the dark red christmas bush. Guests were dotted around all of the different spaces laughing and enjoying themselves, it was such a wonderful atmosphere.
A Growwild wedding would be something truly special that you and your guests would be talking about for years, it's definately a space to go and explore if your planning a Southern Highlands wedding.
