FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far in advance do I need to book?
We suggest a minimum of 6-12 months but we can easily work within a shorter planning timeframe.
We do recommend paying your booking fee as early as possible as we only take a limited number of weddings each weekend.
After your booking fee is paid we can easily sort through changes and revisions to the order details, nothing needs to be firmly set in stone until 6 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Are some flowers only available during some months of the year?
Yes, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and weather conditions have a significant impact on availability of flowers.
For example, Peonies are only available for a few weeks in mid-Spring (most often November) but the specific availability often changes from year to year, depending on how cold the winter has been and how wet the early weeks of spring are.
We’ve compiled a quick snapshot of our favourite blooms per season here.
Do you offer wedding packages?
We do not currently offer wedding packages as no two weddings are the same. We will work with you to tailor floral's for your day to meet your vision and budget and reflect you both as a couple.
Do you offer hire items or do I need to supply my own vases?
We do offer a range of hire items – vases, ceremony arbours, candles, wishing wells, easels to name a few. Our full range can be viewed here.
If you are in need of additional hire items we can assist in sourcing from other local styling companies.
How much do wedding flowers usually cost?
There is a lot of variability when it comes to wedding flower prices. Most of our couples spend between $3500 – $7000 on their wedding flowers.
We suggest 10-15% of your total wedding budget but if you want florals to be a significant component of the experience for the day, we would recommend allocating closer to 25-30% of your total budget to flowers.

How do I organise a consultation?
The first step is to submit an initial enquiry – we will then confirm whether your date is available.
From there, we will send you an online questionnaire as the first phase of our consultation process and from there we can book a phone consult and an in person meeting closer to your day. Learn more about our process here.
I live interstate / overseas. Is that a problem?
No, not at all. We manage all of our communication online – if you’re overseas we can easily coordinate over Zoom or manage everything over email.
Do I need a theme or vision for my day?
No, not at all.
We do suggest though that you do a little research about the types of flowers, tones and designs you like – everyone’s tastes are different and there are endless options when it comes to wedding flower design. Even one or two inspiration photos can point us in the right direction and you can then leave the rest to us.
You don’t need to have thought through every detail. We’ve managed hundreds of weddings and know our local venues incredibly well. We’re always happy to provide suggestions and options for ceremony and reception styling ideas as well.
Will you deliver my flowers on the day?
Absolutely, we’ll deliver all your flowers personally. We’ll coordinate the time and location with you during the planning process. Additional fees may apply for delivery depending on the suburb you are getting ready in.
Can we re-purpose ceremony florals on the bridal table?
We don't recommend re-purposing arbour florals on the bridal table. The flowers at your ceremony are in the sun for several hours which can affect how they look by the time we get them to the reception. Also the flowers are purposefully created to look amazing for the ceremony and they can shift and lose some effect once moved from the ceremony to the reception. The flowers on the bridal table are in so many of your photos throughout the night, especially during your speeches that it is best to have arrangements created specifically for the bridal table which flow on from the guest tables and other feature flower arrangements in the space. So much work goes into your ceremony florals and we do want them to be enjoyed into the evening and so we will transfer them to the reception whenever possible and pop them in areas as a floral accent. An additional charge does apply for ceremony florals to be moved to the reception due to the time involved.
Are there extra charges for set up, delivery and bump outs?
Yes, individual additional charges apply for delivery, set up at the ceremony and reception as well as pack down and bump out. The cost will be added as an extra item in your quote/invoice and will vary depending on location, venue requirements and how extensive your floral's are.
Is there a minimum budget or spend?
We love creating wedding flowers no matter the abundance or budget you have in mind. There is no minimum spend required for wedding flowers.
