Tumbling Waters Retreat Wedding in AustraliaKathleen and Akhil chose Tumbling Waters Retreat for their magical wedding day.
Each time we visit, the gardens grow even more lush and create such a tranquil setting with the stunning backdrop of the sea all the way to the horizon. With Kathleen's love of Peonies we combined a mass of coral, burgandy and white peonies for the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. Peonies are extremely seasonal and only available from local farmers in Australia from November until late December and their availability can vary depending on the weather in Spring as the plants are growing. Imported Peonies are available in May, but come from Europe which increases the cost significantly and limits the tones available. The large arbour at Tumbling Waters Retreat was adorned with a mix of Peonies and local seasonal flowers. As the arbour is so large we always suggest that a large part of your floral budget be put towards the flower arrangements for the arbour and recommend allowing between $1200 - $2000 for this element. Always let us know your budget for this element and we can work with you taking into consideration both your budget and vision. A Tumbling Waters Retreat wedding allows your guests to enjoy your ceremony and then mingle until your reception without needing to travel between venues. They will be entertained by the view, drinks and canapes while you duck off to the beach or bushland with your photographer. The intimate reception space with large windows looking out to the sea only needs floral accents throughout on the tables and bridal table. With accommodation onsite as well as beachside, A Tumbling Water Retreat wedding is so effortless to plan and a dream day to enjoy. Bennelong Restaurant Wedding Reception - Sydney Opera HouseThe intimate Opera Circle is a beautiful setting for a Bennelong Restaurant Wedding Reception at the Sydney Opera House.
A beautiful ambience awaits you and your guests with the stunning architecture, unmatched service and exceptional food. Your guests will be talking about your wedding for years to come. For last weekends intimate wedding celebration the tables were decorated in lush garden style arrangements with a mix of seasonal whites flowers and dark green foliage's. With such beautiful architecture the tables can be as abundant as you imagine - from simple bud vases to abundant arrangements that your guests will fall in love with. Get in touch to discuss your vision for your Bennelong Restaurant Wedding Reception. The Nun's Pool Cronulla WeddingAnnabelle and Luke's The Nuns Pool Cronulla Wedding was a beautiful, intimate celebration with their family and friends. As their florist we used beautiful white roses as a nod to Annabelle's mothers bridal bouquet which was also a white rose bouquet. To add a modern touch we used large headed imported white Tibet Roses which were spun and reflexed to create billowy petals for the bridal bouquet. The Nuns Pool Cronulla Wedding by the seaside lends itself to simplicity in the styling which was Annabelle's vision for the day. Using a single white rose in each clear glass bud vase scattered along the tables let the beautiful details in the space and location shine. For the floral's on our white wooden arbour we used a mix of large white tibet roses, white spray roses, local white garden roses combined with lush foliage in green and rust tones. While the lovely couple chose to have their ceremony on the Nun's Pool Balcony there are also some lovely Cronulla ceremony locations by the sea nearby such as Shelley Park, Oak Park, Salmon Haul and Darook Park. The Nuns Pool Cronulla Wedding is a beautiful modern space, with an amazing team and a delicious modern Australian menu. Across the road from Shelly Park and the Cronulla seaside allows for a quick portrait session without missing out on too much time with your nearest and dearest. For their ceremony the lovely Amanda Knapton was their celebrant and creates ceremonies you will treasure forever and their stunning images which we have featured below are by Nikki Harris Photography. We loved creating the florals and styling for Annabelle and Luke and are always so excited for the chance to bring our floral designs to The Nun's Pool Cronulla. Lovely words from Annabelle and Luke: 'Thank you so much for everything you did for our wedding on Saturday, the florals were amazing and beyond what I expected. Everyone has been commenting on the florals and how amazing it all looked. Thank you again for everything!' Oak Park Cronulla WeddingBec and Jamie were married in an intimate elopement with Pop Up Elopements for an Oak Park Cronulla wedding by the ocean pool and esplanade.
They dreamed of a ceremony by the ocean on a small patch of grass where we were able to find a flat spot for our arch and space for an aisle and chairs. Bec's favourite colour is purple which we incorporated in soft tones and combined with white and blush to create bridal bouquet and statement floral feature on our Metal Lace Arch. Some of our favourite flowers to create with in Spring include Sweet Pea, scabiosa, ranunculus, roses, frilled carnations and spray roses. Set in South Cronulla, Oak Park is an an expansive ocean side parkland with lots of space, parking and three main areas that wedding ceremonies are usually held. High above the ocean, by the sea or with a palm tree backdrop are the spots to consider. On weekends and in summer it can get quite busy and so for a more private ceremony option around the corner there is a cute little spot at Salmon Haul and a private oasis at Darook Park which is perfect for larger weddings. While there are bathroom facilities for your guests, shelter is limited and so a plan B in the case of wild weather is a must for your Oak Park Cronulla Wedding. Pairing your ceremony with a local venue which can offer a back up ceremony option will ease your stress in the lead up to your wedding day. Bec and Jamie's vendors for their day.... We combined rich and bright purples, hot pinks, lipstick reds and vivid oranges in a range of seasonal premium flowers including phalenopsis orchids, ranunculus, roses, sweet pea, frilly carnations, spray roses and vanda orchids. A single large and long arrangement on each table for guest to enjoy during the Sea Level Cronulla Wedding and Engagement celebration left room for chatting, sharing meals and filling wine glasses. A local venue for us we love creating flower arrangements for Sea Level Cronulla Wedding and Engagement celebrations. These colourful flower arrangements brought such a fresh and fun vibe that would have set the scene from the moment guests sat at the tables and had us feeling like spring was knocking on the door. The neutral tones and modern decor at Sea Level allows for so many colour combinations to set the scene for your celebration from classic whites and greens to dusty pinks and textured earthy tones as well as bright spring tones that we created this weekend. No matter the vibe you are wanting to create for your celebration we can help you select the tones that are right for you to suit your budget and vision. Set by the sea in Cronulla with incredible views, unmatched service and delicious food it's definitely a location to consider for your next celebration, no matter the size. Cronulla Surf Club Wedding - Esplanade EventsIt was a stunning winters day full of sunshine and soft breezes for Heather and Ryan's Cronulla Surf Club Wedding - Esplanade Events.
With the elevated deck overlooking the calm waters of Cronulla Beach and the boats floating near the horizon, guests were treated to a stunning view framed by a lush arrangement we created on the rounded white arbour. To create a lush garden style arbour we used a mix of foliage's with differing tones and textures which highlighted the seasonal white flowers that dotted the arbour. The flowers included roses, chrysanthemums, carnations and fragrant stock. Heather and her maids bouquets were made up of fluffy white roses and touches of camellia foliage and inside the Cronulla Surf Club Wedding - Esplanade Events ballroom the tables were scattered with bud vases containing seasonal white blooms and flickering candles while their donut cake sat pretty by the entrance. A Cronulla Surf Club Wedding - Esplanade events is such a stunning location where you can have the most wonderful celebration with your friends and family. We loved everything about this wedding, white blooms mixed with lush foliage is a timeless combination! Rydges Cronulla Beachside Wedding - Cronulla Wedding FloristSam and Troy choose a Rydges Cronulla Beachside wedding created by the team at Pop Up Elopements on a glorious winters day to celebrate their love.
Set by the sea in a beautiful part of Cronulla, a Rydges Cronulla Beachside wedding creates a destination wedding feel. With a covered area which means you don't need a plan B for the weather which then becomes a fun area for your family and friends to mingle in while you step over to the beach to capture memories of your day. We created Sam's bridal bouquet with quicksand roses, phalenopsis orchids, preserved ruscus and olive foliage to create an elegant seaside boho feel that was carried through to the flowers on our white wooden arbour. The reception space was dotted with bud vases of roses and seasonal blooms in blush and white tones and the arbour was moved inside to be enjoyed throughout the night as a backdrop to the cake by Sprinkles and Cream. Sam and Troy's day was captured by Bedford Photography and a selection of images of their day taken by Cassie can be found below. A heartfelf ceremony was crafted by Amanda Knapton. We love nothing more than creating florals for local weddings and working with the team at Rydges is always a highlight. Sydney Elopement by the orange orchard - Cornwallis House WeddingA Sydney elopement by the Orange Orchard - Cornwallis House Wedding which called for hints of citrus tones throughout the wedding flowers.
Samantha and Colin chose such a beautiful spot in for their Sydney Elopement by the Orange Orchard - Cornwallis House Wedding, the rain in the lead up with local flooding meant it was touch and go if the venue would be ok for the wedding but by their wedding day the sun shone, the orange orchard smelt divine and the local bird life were hopping in amongst the flowers on the arbour to see what was going on. The bouquet set the scene for the days florals for their Sydney Elopement by the Orange Orchard - Cornwallis House Wedding. An abundant wedding bouquet in tones of blush, soft pink, reds and hints of orange full of lush foliage was a statement. Petite bridesmaid bouquets of quicksand roses and foliage were just enough in amongst the trees of the orchard as the maids walked down the aisle. A tall arbour which was included in by the venue allowed the oranges on the trees to shine through with our florals floating above them. Simple low arrangements of flowers dotted along the reception tables left room for all of Samantha and Colin's little touches that were so lovely as well as the lolly buffet and stunning cake by Sprinkles and Cream. As the beautiful day turned into twilight, a gorgeous sunset cast a gorgeous glow over the river and valley as the celebrations continued into the night. All of the amazing vendors for the day..... The gardens of Hazelhurst and the space in the cafe are already so decorative themselves that you can concentrate on a few statement pieces for your florals. Statement florals on our Copper Wedding Arbour created a stunning backdrop amongst the small garden setting, we then moved the arbour and attached a neon light which then created a feature for the reception space. Oversized bouquets for the bridal party in rich earthy tones in a mix of natives, wildflowers and seasonal blooms made our hearts sing. Alana and Zac opted for aisle flowers which were repurposed as table arrangements with the addition of scattered bud vases and there were petal cones in bright colours to create a stunning effect as they walked down the aisle after saying I do. The food is a standout feature for a Hazelhurst Cafe Wedding and as the tables are scattered with share plates less can be more in the way of florals. We always suggest putting the bulk of your flower budget towards the arbour then re-purposing it in the reception space. A Hazelhurst Cafe wedding allows for a day where your ceremony will blend into the reception, there is lots of room for guests to mingle and the cocktails while you have you wedding portraits with your photographer while wandering the gardens will make your cheeks hurt a little less with all that smiling. Take advantage of visits to the cafe in the lead up to your day while your planning to enjoy the food and ambience. Alana and Zac's vendors..... Their wedding day was one of the windiest we have experienced but that option of being able to hold their ceremony in the warm and cosy space at Headlands Hotel, still with the gorgeous view as a backdrop.
Their Headlands Austinmer Beach wedding had an abundance of garden style florals in whites with lush green seasonal foliages. From bouquets finished with phalenopsis orchids to lush oversized arrangements for the arbour and vases overflowing with blooms for the tables. With time in between the ceremony and reception for their Headlands Austinmer Beach Wedding, they even had time to duck down to the beach in front of the bluff where they were sheltered from the wind and able to get some gorgeous shots. The bridal bouquet was a mix of blush and white roses with scattered babies breath and the maids carried an abundance of babies breath for their Zimzala Cronulla wedding. It was a rainy day in Cronulla, luckily the ceremony was undercover at Rydges Cronulla which is a great wet weather back up option and the rain stopped for the bridal party to get some photos in by the sea. We then set up the reception at Zimzala Cronulla Wedding with bud vases of babies breath and white and blush roses mixed with flickering candles along with all of the special touches that Jess and Miles had put together. Wooden surfboard bonbonaires that they organised in Bali with their original wedding date on them, photo frames of loved ones passed and sparklers for in the dark of the night. The Kyle Bay WeddingThe Kyle Bay Wedding....what a spot!
An afternoon ceremony at Blakehurst Anglican church was followed by a reception at The Kyle Bay wedding venue which is set by Kyle Bay in a picturesque spot with breathtaking views. For the ceremony babies breath clusters lined the aisle and vase arrangements sat at the entry and on the altar. These were all repurposed later at the reception on the bar and around the cake. Florals for the day were a garden style vibe in whites with lush green foliage. Abundant arrangements sat on the guest and bridal tables with the stunning view behind it. The Kyle Bay wedding venue is somewhere you need to check out if you are planning a wedding in Southern Sydney, it's a beautiful spot for a celebration. The weir to access the dancehall was closed due to flooding in the days leading up to their wedding day and there had been a slight landslide to the access road via Waterfall. The night before the wedding they had a tree come down near the cottage they were staying at above the Dance Hall which cut power and blocked the road from the other direction. In true Audley Dance Hall style, they had a team there early the next morning to cut down the tree and the ceremony and reception were able to go ahead bathed in candlelight accompanied by string instruments. Such a professional team who go above and beyond to make your day incredibly special. Rain, hail or shine! Gen had a vision of wildflowers mixed with gum foliage to tie in with the bush setting of the Royal National Park for their Audley Dance Hall Wedding Flowers. After a first look on the gorgeous white bridge that crosses the river they made their way to their ceremony on the deck of Audley Dance Hall where our garden arch was scattered in wildflowers and their reception tables with low arrangements sat in the background. To tie in with the tropical hanging feature that 1908 Cronulla have in their main dining room we created tropical florals full of lush green tropical leaves, phalenopsis orchids, white seasonal blooms mixed with touches of black stringlia to create focal points throughout the space. For this 1908 Cronulla Engagement Celebration our suspended arbour sat draped in tropical foliage and florals against the huge windows in the main dining room. Their giant marble table was moved to the side to become a grazing table which had two large feature arrangements at each end. The smaller tables were scattered with petite bud vases and candles throughout. 1908 Cronulla is a beautiful space on it's own and it doesn't need much in the way of florals for an engagement celebration. The florals were full of texture using seasonal blooms in rusty orange's and white tones with a hint of yellow. Rachael and Kane had originally planned their Elouera Surf Club Wedding Cronulla for 2020 but COVID meant that they needed to downsize their original day to an intimate ceremony at Oak Park Cronulla followed by a dinner by the sea at Summer Salt Restaurant, Cronulla. Fast forward to March 2022 and a some exciting chapters since they married with them finding themselves in a new home and having baby Lucas arrive months before the wedding. They had always planned to have their full Elouera Surf Club wedding Cronulla and celebrate with their family and friends. Elements from their original wedding day were incorporated into their second wedding day including a hexagonal arch that was built by Kane and the silk floral arrangement that we created for their original wedding. Rachael's bouquet was similar to the original with a stunning King Protea, gum foliage, quicksand roses and other seasonal flowers in dusty pink tones only this time she was also able to have a maid of honour by her side! Some of the small bud arrangements replicated the table arrangements from Summersalt and similar vases and arrangements were used on the grazing and gift tables. We spent a few hours in some sort of a weather vortex on the peninsula at Lilli Pilli Reserve Wedding Flowers in face stinging rain setting up the floral pillars for their ceremony but it was worth it!. The rain stopped just long enough for their ceremony and for Jordan and Brady to say their i-do's next to their floral pillars. Jordan's vision for her Lilli Pilli Reserve Wedding Flowers was garden style white flowers with lush green foliages which we created with White rose bouquets and pillars with lush spreading foliage and roses mixed with delicate flowers. The rain was starting again as we were packing up the ceremony and a lovely neighbour offered Jordan, Brady and the bridal party to take shelter under their balcony. Gosh it made my heart smile! To create their coastal luxe vibe we used a range of mixed dried palms, large roses, babies breath, eucalyptus and stunning phalenopsis orchids for the ceremony back drop. Clusters of flipped roses and candles on each table softened the room and brought all the romantic vibes. One of our most favourite parts of a wedding day is seeing all of the little touches of love each couple put's into the elements of their day. Em and Scott were no different, a cute little jenga set for guests to write a note on was such a special touch. The added bonus at of having a Headlands Austinmer Beach wedding is that you make your day so relaxing by having everything in one spot. You can stay overnight the night before the wedding and wander over to the space in the morning to set up any special touches before you head back for your hair and make-up and then you can have more time with your guests and only have to duck down to the beach for your photos. The whole experience creates such a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Em and Scott were also lucky that with the weather being so wild they could then move the ceremony inside. We had such a great day flowering up the Growwild wedding for Jess and Josh. After a postponement last year, Jess and Josh finally got to enjoy their wedding with their nearest and dearest at Growwild wedding. And, what a day it was! Growwild have set up a fantastic oasis from the ceremony space in the Secret Valley that is full of tree hollows fit for fairies and flowers spilling over rockledge's surrounded by stunning native bushland that set's off the curved arch which we added spilling flowers to. In the barn, Jess and her tribe spent the morning getting ready and then after the ceremony the guests enjoyed the afternoon in the barn sipping on drinks and sampling food that looked absolutely divine. Around the back is a perfect area for some fun lawn games surrounded by Growwild's stunning gardens, we could hear a lot of guests having fun with the lawn games. Up at the beautiful marquee unique to a Growwild wedding, we used lush foliage to create a hanging install that floated above the guests. The tables were adorned with bud vases filled with gorgeous blooms in whites, peach and apricots with a scattering of candles. The bud vases worked perfectly for the shared style dinner that was planned. Off to the side of the marquee is another area perfect for enjoying the evening with huge festoon lights that I wish I could have seen at night. The area was filled with wine barrels which were where repurposed the florals from the arbour at their bases so they could be enjoyed a little longer. There were so many magical spots for Jess and Josh and their bridal party to have photos before the reception, they will have some treasured shots. My favourite cluster of trees were the dark red christmas bush. Guests were dotted around all of the different spaces laughing and enjoying themselves, it was such a wonderful atmosphere.
A Growwild wedding would be something truly special that you and your guests would be talking about for years, it's definately a space to go and explore if your planning a Southern Highlands wedding.
