Hazelhurst Cafe WeddingIt was a beautiful day for an intimate Hazelhurst Cafe Wedding for Alana and Zac with Pop Up Elopements surrounded by such a fun bridal party, their adorable pooch and their family and friends.
The gardens of Hazelhurst and the space in the cafe are already so decorative themselves that you can concentrate on a few statement pieces for your florals. Statement florals on our Copper Wedding Arbour created a stunning backdrop amongst the small garden setting, we then moved the arbour and attached a neon light which then created a feature for the reception space. Oversized bouquets for the bridal party in rich earthy tones in a mix of natives, wildflowers and seasonal blooms made our hearts sing. Alana and Zac opted for aisle flowers which were repurposed as table arrangements with the addition of scattered bud vases and there were petal cones in bright colours to create a stunning effect as they walked down the aisle after saying I do. The food is a standout feature for a Hazelhurst Cafe Wedding and as the tables are scattered with share plates less can be more in the way of florals. We always suggest putting the bulk of your flower budget towards the arbour then re-purposing it in the reception space. A Hazelhurst Cafe wedding allows for a day where your ceremony will blend into the reception, there is lots of room for guests to mingle and the cocktails while you have you wedding portraits with your photographer while wandering the gardens will make your cheeks hurt a little less with all that smiling. Take advantage of visits to the cafe in the lead up to your day while your planning to enjoy the food and ambience. Alana and Zac's vendors..... Hazelhurst Wedding Celebration GymeaSarah and Ross waited 496 days for their Hazelhurst Wedding Celebration Gymea, after COVID caused them to postpone twice and we were so excited to finally create their wedding flowers. It gave them plenty of time to dream up all of the many personal touches that were so lovely to see scattered throughout their day. The florals were full of texture using seasonal blooms in rusty orange's and white tones with a hint of yellow. Dried flowers were used for all of the buttonholes and wrist corsages and Sarah's bouquet was finished off with the ribbon used on Ross's grandmothers wedding bouquet and we included some Lunaria pod's which we grew in our gardens over the last two years. welcome The ceremony for their Hazelhurst Wedding Celebration Gymea was set by the Palm trees in the vast gardens of Hazelhurst. Our Copper Wedding Arch was covered in abundant florals and grasses in tones of toffee, rusty orange and whites with touches of chamomile. Floral arrangements lined the aisle and sat below the gorgeous flower welcome sign that Sarah who owns The Sparkk dreamt up with the petals that were tossed as they walked down the aisle as Mr and Mrs! plus Hazelhurst Cafe and Gallery is such a fun space that already has an eclectic mix of dried flowers and repurposed elements and can be dressed up with florals as much or as little as you like. For Sarah and Ross's day we added a selection of bud vases and paired them with candles which were made by one of Sarah's bridesmaids plus the signature lanterns and tins of candles that Hazelhurst are known for.
A Hazelhurst Wedding Celebration Gymea isn't complete without the main table overflowing with florals and foliage by the cafe themselves. Sarah and Ross had so many special elements dotted throughout the space including succulents for their guests to take home, a beautiful bedazzled denim jacket for Sarah to wear as the night cooled down. There were lawn games for the guests to play and we repurposed the aisle flowers throughout the space and moved the arbour into a photo area complete with a lounge and neon sign for pictures all night long. We hope Sarah and Ross had the most magical wedding day! The dream team of vendor's for Sarah and Ross's day.....
